Clicktouch Force Sensors (CFS)
Force Sensors are comparable with the Clicktouch membrane switches. The resistance value, as well as the sensitivity, can be customised by adapting the layout of the sensor and by selecting the appropriate materials for the specific application.
The pressure sensor and the interface have a simple structure and can also be used at extreme temperatures, with typical values between -40 and +100° C. These sensors allow the definition of large key surfaces, excellent for detection applications, as well as the combination of several functions in one key. A 2-dimensional CFS and a CFS Mouse are also available.
A protective plate (stainless steel, glass, PMMA, etc. ) can be placed on top of the sensor to make the construction vandal resistant.
