This technology is characterised by a long lifespan and its resistance to dust, water, chemicals and scratches.
This patented ClickTouch-shoulder is recognised as a reference for ultimate quality. The ClickTouch Dome offers quality six times higher than any other membrane technology. Available in various shapes and sizes (up to 35 mm in diameter), its combination of silver and carbon ensures it can be easily illuminated while remaining unbreakable – the button continues to function flawlessly even if it is tampered with (e.g. with a screwdriver or scalpel).
Metal dome switches offer a classic solution with unique advantages. Experience the rapid click response and excellent performance at high temperatures. Our combination of a ClickTouch Dome with a metal disc achieves double-click functionality with activation forces of up to 1500 g and resistance to high temperatures. This solution offers a long lifespan of up to 1 million activations and a reliable user experience.

Backlighting
For your critical applications, we offer optimal lighting options for keyboards. We have various techniques such as electroluminescence, lighting via optical fibres, direct lighting from the PCB, or using side LEDs into the keyboard itself – which all enhance operation, safety and design. Selective backlighting of symbols is also possible.

Digital Print
ClickTouch’s digital printing gives you absolute design freedom for graphic front layers and membrane keyboards. Easily customise your designs for different customers – ideal for small series and complex designs. Flexibility, freedom and quick prototypes are just some of the benefits of this solution.
We can use a combination of technologies – such as a ClickTouch Dome, pressure sensors (CFS) and metal dome switches – to integrate multiple functions simultaneously into a keyboard.
Redundant keyboard
We can combine our ClickTouch Dome with a pressure sensor (CFS) to provide a double-closed circuit – essential for your critical safety applications.
Double Click keyboard
Our keys can also offer dual functionality. The operator activates the first contact and first function with a normal press. Then, a stronger press makes a second underlying connection with another function and possibly an associated click.
Triple Click keyboard
A Triple Key is a combination of a ClickTouch Dome, a metal dome switch and a pressure sensor (CFS) – with different stack-ups and functions. For example, pressing a soft ClickTouch key can activate an underlying pressure sensor for speed control. If pressed even harder, an metal dome switch ensures the measurement is concluded. A possible different stack-up – with a pressure sensor (CFS) under a traditional double click – provides a redundant double click system.
Industrial Keyboards
Industrial keyboards are high-quality, sealed keyboards for industrial environments. Made from a ClickTouch membrane keyboard or capacitive sensing, they are optionally equipped with an integrated trackball or sense pad. In addition to standard options, we also offer custom solutions: a special design to withstand water, dust and dirt, or with optional pointing devices like trackball, touchpad or mouse pointer. We supply both individual components and complete solutions - including casings, cables and connectors. Benefits include a long lifespan, chemical resistance, custom options, various connections, different shapes and languages, and various pointing options.
PCB Contact Layer
These top layers, similar to membrane keyboards, offer users valuable benefits. In a contact layer, wiring is replaced by a printed circuit board (PCB) – providing a reliable, compact and cost-effective solution. They are thin and easy to use, and the PCB can also serve as a carrier plate. Usability with an actuator improves the user experience, while options for backlighting increase versatility.
Rubber Keyboards
ClickTouch has the expertise to integrate rubber keyboards into your product. These keyboards are cast from silicone rubber – a process that offers freedom in your aesthetic and ergonomic keyboard design.
